[Js-Craft #45] That book about React, coding screencasts, debouncing useEffect(), Javascript clamp function, auto-scrolling in React, and more

Hellllllooooo friends! It's Daniel here from Js-Craft and I hope you're having a good December so far!

In this edition of the Js-Craft newsletter, we will chat about the React book I've started to write and the new tutorials on the site. Also happy to report that after a while I was able to record a few new coding screencasts. Let's get to it!

πŸ“˜ That book about React

I've started the work on the ReactJs book. It will start with the core concepts, but will quickly go to more advanced topics such as performance, folder and file structuring, server components, ReactQuery, or best practices.

I'm putting together this book for me too. It's like my own little guide filled with tips, solutions, and power-ups to everyday questions and problems I've faced in my years of diving into React. I hope to make it a personal map of crafting professional React code.

You can check out the first sample of the book, see the table of contents, and get a 30% discount code by joining the presale.

Please feel free to reply to this email with any feedback or things you would like to see in the book.

🍿 New coding screencasts videos

I've made two new coding screencasts on the following topics:

Hope you like them and more to come during the following weeks.

πŸ“° New articles on Js-Craft

During the past weeks, I've managed to publish 6 new articles, including a tutorial on how to autoscroll at the end of a list in React. Check out the complete roster of articles:

πŸŽ„ Some non-coding things

As we approach the holidays, I hope you can spend time with folks you care about, chill with a homemade pumpkin spice latte, a good movie, and take a well-deserved break.

Wish you all the best and happy holidays, friends!

See you next week! Be smart, be kind, and keep coding!
