Hey, there friend!
It's Daniel here, the guy who runs the js-craft.io website. I hope your past 2 weeks were great! Mine were full, and also fun, as I've been grinding out to finish the React book. Let's gooo!

📘 The Js-Craft guide to React book updates
The launch day of the Js-Craft guide to React is getting closer and closer. I am super excited about it, as a lot of hard work has been put into this book. It seems that writing a book is much more time-consuming than I'd imagined.
I've decided to name the book The Js-Craft Guide to React.
So far, there are over 170 pages, 15 chapters plus a dozen of cool React examples. The launch of the book will be the next week!
🍿 New coding screencasts videos
I've found some screencasts I've made last year but were not yet published:
Don't forget you can also subscribe to the YouTube channel.
📰 New articles on Js-Craft
Here are all the new articles:
- Crafting small projects and throwing them away
- React – example of useRef() with array
🌎 Cool links from around the web
A few more weeks have passed and some links to some cool stuff have started to pile up in my bookmarks. So, let's see:
- The world's smallest PNG
- CodePen with an Interactive Christmas Tree
- Three modern CSS properties your website must have
- Vue.js and GraphQl – the documentaries link 1 and link 2
🏝 Some non-coding things
Given that it's still freezing cold outside I've been enjoying a good book: Diamond Doris. It's the true story of Doris Payne, one of the world's most notorious jewel thieves. A fun and easy-to-read book. There is also a movie/documentary made from this book.
Just as a reference to how cold it is this is how a nearby lake looks like. Completely frozen 🥶.
Well, that's all folks! Be smart, be kind, and keep coding! See you next week at the book launch of The Js-Craft Guide to React.
